The basket is woven from rolled newspapers and then painted it in blue..

I had some stones from my old flower vase. So I used them create a wall art.

The base is cut from foam board and painted in black. Then stones were then glued on to that.

Easy and cheap wall decor

Butterflies on wall......made from cereal box....

I had a bunch of empty cereal boxes sitting in my cupboard ..Yes..Yes.. I know I am a hoarder :-)

So I cut out different sized butterflies from them. Painted them with some acrylic colours and attached some double sided tape. Now they sit pretty on my living room wall :)

Handmade Diaper Card

A special card for my friend's baby shower.
It is a custom to put bangles on the mom-to-be's wrists for baby shower. This is done as a blessing to her and the child.
I made the bangles using baby pink crimped strips. The baby legs are made using quilled teardrops and circles. 

The card opens similar to a diaper and the wishes can be written inside :-)

I used Anchor stitch kit for this project. Lots of threads, easy to follow instructions and a wide variety of designs/sizes are some of the advantages of these kits. 

Since only long stitch is involved and the markings on the design are very clear, these are a great way to bust your stress! You can keep on stitching with no thought of the world..
